All my mugs are made individually by hand using handbuilding sculpture techniques. Each one takes a considerable amount of time and effort to craft.
The Knitter’s Mug is made of white midfire stoneware, fired twice with a minimum of three different glazes used per mug. The tripod form uses slab construction, and the knitted fabric texture roller used to decorate the bottom half of the cup was designed and 3D printed by me. I hand pull and sculpt each handle. Each mug is unique, and holds between 13 and 15 oz. of liquid. The tripod is stable and does not tip easily.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
